Jennifer and Stacey offer an all-encompassing newborn prep class the Better Baby Class, four Core Classes focusing on navigating your baby’s early months, and a selection of Specialty Classes; so no matter what you are hoping to figure out about early parenthood, we’ve got you covered!

PRENATAL CLASSES:  
The Better Baby Class

The Better Baby Class is the most comprehensive prenatal newborn prep class on the market.  In this four-hour class, we cover everything you need to know from the moment your baby is born through the first two weeks of his or her life. You will leave class prepared to take care of your newborn; you’ll know how to start breastfeeding off right and how to ease the recovery for the birthing mom; and your partner will have a concrete understanding of what they should be doing and how best to support the family through these early days. Partners In Parenting

Becoming new parents can be a challenge and it is essential to make sure that both parts of your team are on the same page before baby arrives. In this 2.5 hour class, we will look at what to expect in the first two weeks after baby arrives, including what help mom may need and how her partner can help her begin a successful breastfeeding relationship. We will also focus on how to establish yourselves as a parenting team, while also maintaining a healthy relationship together through open lines of communication. Finally, we will consider ways to create healthy boundaries with well-intentioned family and friends so that everyone feels loved, needed, and secure.  Click here to read more.​

OBC Core Class Series
This 4 class series is designed to support families throughout the 4th trimester and beyond.  It will most benefit parents of babies 0 - 5 months.

You're a Mom Now: Embracing Your New Normal.  Becoming a parent is one of the biggest changes one will go through in life. This lesson explores the importance of taking care of yourself and it outlines simple steps you can take to ensure your mental, physical, and emotional health. Click here to read more.

Tips & Tricks: Advice for the Early Days. “It takes a village to raise a child.” This Tips and Tricks class is meant to provide participants with some advice that only past experience can offer. You will learn tips and tricks for helping your child through difficult times including teething, post-vaccinations, sickness, and separation anxiety. Your Older Baby: What to Expect Months 6-12
This class is designed to support families & caregivers of babies between 4 & 10
months old.

Whether your baby is still an infant or already past the halfway mark, this class can be your one-stop-shop for everything you need to know for months 6-12. We will review the developmental milestones your child is likely to experience in the second half of his or her first year and what this means for baby proofing the house. We will also explore fun ways to interact with your baby and stimulate his or her senses through sensory play. You will learn ten of the most useful baby signs, how to practice the “baby led weaning” method to introducing solid foods, and some tips for dealing with teething and separation anxiety. Months 6-12 are some of the most fun in this parenting journey and this OBC class is aimed at helping you and your baby get the most out of them.  Click here to read more.

Making Returning to Work Work
This class is designed for anyone who will be spending time away from baby.
It can be taken after baby arrives or prenatally.

For many parents, returning to work is an emotional and bittersweet transition. This class will help you be as prepared as possible for the big day. We will complete a lesson that helps you choose and communicate with your childcare provider, your place of work, and your partner so expectations are clear and manageable. Then we will delve into everything you need to know if you are planning to express breastmilk while at work. Lastly, we will explore possible challenges that can pop up after you are back at work, like a disagreement with your childcare provider, or how to find the time to meet everyone’s needs, and what to do when you are missing your baby.  Click here to read more.

POTTYING CLASSES:
Infant Pottying Class 0-18 mths
This class is designed for anyone interested in pottying a baby from birth to 18 months old.  It can be taken prenatally or postpartum & babies are welcome!

Have you ever wondered whether there’s a natural alternative to full time diapering and conventional toilet training? Do you struggle with diaper rash, diaper changing resistance, want to buy less diapers or wash less cloth? Or perhaps it simply doesn’t feel right to have your baby use a diaper as a toilet and sit in it for any length of time?

In this class learn all things Elimination Communication (EC):

  • How to start, continue, & complete 

  • How to know when your baby needs to potty

  • How to position and cue a baby to potty

EC: Cold Weather & Travel
This class is designed for those who have started down the EC journey & are interested in learning more about practicing EC in cold weather & while traveling

Getting ready for a trip with your baby? Feeling the complications that the cold weather brings?

If you have attended the Intro to Infant Pottying Class or you have just been pottying your 0-18mth old baby, this class is for you!

We will discuss these unique situations, in depth:

  • EC in Cold Weather!!

  • Pottying in nature & around town

  • Car Pottying (next to & inside the car)

  • Traveling & EC- so many tips & tricks here!

There will be ample time for questions & discussion in this class, so please bring your questions & concerns for all of us to learn from!

Non-Coercive Potty Training 101: Introduction
This is the first class in the series of 2.  It is designed for those with children 18 months and older, who have a desire to be done with diapers!  We leave our children at home for the in depth discussion in this class!

  • Learn all the steps to teach potty independence to your child
